How much does it cost?

It's GBP 995 once-off for the build, and an optional GBP 49 a month if you'd like us to host, maintain and update it for you.

What does the monthly fee cover?

The monthly plan covers hosting, your TLS certificate, backups, uptime monitoring, connecting your own domain at no extra charge, one photo swap in the first month, and up to 2 content change requests a month turned around within 48 hours. It doesn't cover online payments, booking systems or new pages beyond the set your site is built with. It's optional. If you skip it, you get the site files and you arrange your own hosting.

Can I see it before I pay?

You already can. The link in my email is your actual website, live right now. What you see is what you get. It stays up for 14 days while you decide.

How long does it take?

It's already built. The preview link is the finished site. If you're happy with it, it can be fully yours the same day you complete payment.

Do I own the website?

Yes. Once the once-off payment is made, the site is yours.

Can I have changes made?

Before you buy, if any detail is wrong (opening hours, phone number, prices, a photo), reply with the correction and we'll put it right. After that, the monthly plan includes up to 2 content change requests a month, turned around within 48 hours. Anything bigger, like an online shop, a booking system or extra pages beyond the set your site has, isn't part of that, so I'd need to check it for you.

What about my own domain name?

The preview lives at yourbusiness.slashturn.com. On the monthly plan we connect your own domain, for example yourbusiness.com, at no extra charge. If you already own one we can use it. If you don't, that's a short conversation and I'll get you an answer.

Will it show up on Google?

The site is built so search engines can read it properly, and we submit it to Google once it's yours. How quickly and where it ranks is up to Google, so I won't promise positions, but being findable is the whole point of having it.

Do I have to do anything?

No. We built it from what's publicly listed about your business. If any detail is wrong (hours, phone, services), reply with the correction and we'll fix it before you decide.

Can I cancel?

You keep the site. We hand over the files and you arrange hosting elsewhere, or we can point it wherever you like.

Who are you?

Fair question. We're Slashturn Studios, part of The Creative Clan, a UK creative agency. The site you're looking at is real and already live, which is the best proof I can offer. Payment goes through Stripe, the same processor used by millions of businesses, and you'll get a proper receipt.

Am I talking to a real person?

The outreach is automated, that's how we can build sites this quickly at this price, but there's a real team behind it and Ross, who runs it, reads anything that needs a human decision. If you'd rather talk to him directly, say so and I'll arrange it.

How did you find me?

Your business is publicly listed on Google Maps without a website, which is exactly who we build for. Your email came from a public business listing, a page on the open web, or a business contact lookup service. If you'd rather not hear from us, one word and you never will again.

I already have a Facebook page. Why do I need this?

A Facebook page is a good start, but a website shows up in Google search, looks more established, and is fully yours rather than subject to Facebook's layout and reach. Plenty of your competitors have both, and the ones that do tend to win the customers who Google first.
