The process
The site exists before you decide.
Most website work starts with a meeting, a brief and a deposit, and you find out at the end whether you like it. We do it the other way round. The build happens first, at our cost, and the only thing you are asked to judge is the finished thing.
Step by step
01 · We find you
Our software reads public business listings and looks for businesses that do not appear to have a website of their own. If yours came up, we found a contact address for it. Nobody has spoken to you at this point, and you have given us nothing.
02 · We build it
Up to 5 pages, written from what is already published about your business. No invented awards, no invented years in the trade, no stock photographs of somebody else's shop. If a fact is not available, the page leaves it out rather than guessing.
03 · It goes online
At an address like yourbusiness.slashturn.com, with a strip across the top saying it is a preview and when it expires. It is a real site on a real host, not a picture of one.
04 · We email you once
One message with the link and the price. If you do not reply we send a short sequence of reminders and then stop. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe that works immediately.
05 · You decide
Buy it and the preview strip comes off, the site stays at the same address and it becomes yours. Do nothing and it comes offline after 14 days.
If you say no
Nothing happens, and that is the point.
The preview comes down
Automatically, after 14 days. We do not keep it, we do not sell it and we do not reuse it for anyone else.
You get one way back
The email telling you it has come down carries a link that puts it back for a further 7 days, once. After that it is deleted.
Saying stop is final
If you unsubscribe or tell us you are not interested, your address goes on a permanent suppression list. Every message we send is checked against that list first, so no future campaign can reach you even if your business turns up in a search again next year.
If you say yes
Changes
2 rounds of revisions, requested within 30 days, each completed within 5 working days. A round is one email with a list of changes in it.
Hosting
12 months included in the build fee. After that it carries on if you are on the monthly plan, and if you are not we hand you the files and keep the site up for 30 more days while you move it.
Ownership
The website transfers to you when you have paid for it. You can ask for the files at any time, at no charge. The terms set this out in clause 15.
Price
GBP 995 once and GBP 49 a month if you want us to look after it. The pricing page has the detail.
Honest about the machinery
Almost all of this is software.
Finding the business, writing the message, deciding when to send it so it lands in your working hours, reading your reply and building the site are all automated. Sophie, who signs our email, is an AI assistant operated by us, and her messages are our messages. Anything that looks like a complaint, a negotiation or a legal question goes to a person, and you can ask for a person at any point by replying and saying so.
